6th Grade Math

Welcome to Trimester 1, sixth grade math. We are currently working on decimals, percents, and fractions in preparation for determining probabilities of genetic inheritance. What traits did you get from your parents, and how likely are you to pass those same traits on to your own kids?

Semester 1 Learning Targets

LT 1: I can read, write, and manipulate algebraic expressions.
LT 2: I can write and solve equations and prove that the solution is the value that makes the equation true.
LT 3: I can represent and analyze the relationship between dependent and independent variables in multiple representations.
LT 4: I can order and interpret the value of rational numbers on the number line.
LT 5: I can divide fractions, whole numbers, and mixed numbers using multiple methods.
